Posted - 19 Nov 2008 : 03:45:51 Command are pleased to announce that, after testing, the Israeli Theatre V0.5 for AF has been approved for use on official flight nights. It can be downloaded here.
TE writers are welcome to submit official TEs for this Theatre from now on.
All members will be notified of the need to have this Theatre installed ahead of the first official TE to be flown.
All members should note that only V0.5 has been approved for official 185th use in AF. You should not update this Theatre for official missions unless Command issue an update notice in the future.
Finally, noting the real-life sensitivity of the Theatre, all TE writers must follow the rule with regard to not politicising 185th official missions as covered in SOP 9.2. It states:
quote: Do not use the name of any real person or group in the TE. You can use real Armed Forces and real places but you must not be politically biased in the brief.

The only time you have more fuel than you need is when your jet is on fire |

Posted - 23 Nov 2008 : 13:33:25 1. In your ..\WeatherAF\weatherdata folder, copy Korea directory and rename it to Israel. 2. Start WeatherAF, then use the Select button to open the mission you wish to add weather to. 3. In the Weather Situation frame, select Israel(!) from the first combo-box. 4. Proceed as you normally would. Job done!

Check the file theater.lst in the root directory of your AF install, look for any characters in there that don't like "right".
Not a good start if the installer isn't properly updating the .lst file. |
