Credit also to the [b]BGEES[/b] team of [b]Bigbrother (lead)[/b] , [b]Goose[/b], [b]Turnburn[/b] and [b]Ktel[/b] for their much improved 2nd half performance and for persevering to the (almost) bitter end. Thank you for your participation. The final mission saw the teams escorting a 4 ship of transport aircraft to an airfield behind enemy lines. 1.5PIE and Blues both achieved a mission success, the former returning all 4 pilots safe and well, the latter losing 1 man to an entanglement with a MIG 29 which was marred by technical problems. BGEES were only able to field 2 pilots on the night due to circumstances beyond their control and therefore decided not to fly the final mission returning a null score.
