4/13 equals 30.7% , so he's not qualified to Pilot of the quarter.

Posted - 05 Apr 2008 : 12:32:42 avg points are (or were??? the page where the cpl is explained has disappeared....) are average points for the missions a pilot as flown.
minimum attandence is 50% of the periods missions.
pilot qualifies for pilot of the month if he hasnt been lead for more than 25% of the flights pilot qualifies for fleat lead of the month if more than 25% of the flights he has done lead.

how does the average points award work? is it the total achieved divided by only the number of flights that that person has flown? or is it just for show? i dont really understand the point of it otherwise

Posted - 05 Apr 2008 : 11:16:38 It's the only race I bet on, putting each way bets on for the family. We always get something in the first four. No particular trick, but most of them have odds between 20/1 and 33/1. Not that that tip is any use at all!!

Posted - 05 Apr 2008 : 11:08:48 Nice one Blue Flight, let's try and keep up the good work.
Well done to all pilots mentioned above and for everyone participating on Sunday nights. The CPL can be like the Grand National - it's anybodys race at times, as long as we are enjoying the flying, that's the main thing.
