Posted - 12 Dec 2007 : 02:17:01 The TE for Sunday 16 December will require everyone taking part to conduct a ramp start. If you are rusty you can find the check-lists here:
http://www.combatsimchecklist.net/Download/Checklists_main_1206.zip
These ramp start/cockpit trainers are good for learning the basics in AF:

Remember to allow the INS to flash ALIGN before switching from Align to Nav (we will allow the full 8 minutes on Sunday).

Ignition key? I made the mistake of leaving the CD player on in the pit and my battery's dead.
Anyone got any jump leads?

Posted - 12 Dec 2007 : 16:35:09 Oooh yay...I've wanted to do ramp starts for ages. As we are performing a full ramp start, would be advisable to come on TS about 10-15 minutes earlier? Otherwise we might not finish the TE until quite late.
