Hi Guys, things are getting difficult to work around here for a while, I have family visiting, three weddings (no funeral though!) and goodness knows what else all looming on the horizon, as a consequence I am no longer in a position to give the amount of time and effort to being the CO, consequently I am resigning both as CO and from the 185th. I find that my interest and enthusiasm for F4 has waned considerably, to the point where I really feel the need for a break, I am sure thaat we all reach such points in our hobbies and intersts from time to time. It's been a great experience though, being a part of such a tight knit community and I have nothing but great memories and even greater laughs from all the ttime I heve been here, also I have made some excellent friends, and to all the long time ones I would like to say a big thank you, first and foremost to Graham "Minstrel" Piper, who has been not only a great friend but also an enormous help for me as CO and great fun to fly with as well, also I would like to thank Sabre who was willing to give loads of time testing my first efforts at TE building and also to Turnburn who was also a willing member of the TE testing Trio!! Both Triton and Wolfy are also due thanks just for being themselves, nuff said!! {:+)) Reaps and Bobs also were long time IRC and online Campaign companions and we had some great times flying together, thanks for that guys!! also to Ktel, BB, and all the other SO's whether current or former, in some way they all played a part in making being a member of the 185th an enjoyable, fun and exciting experience, so many thanks to you guys too. I will continue to serve as CO until such time as the SO's appoint a new one or for a month antway, so I will still be flying for a bit, but after that time really runs out for me as family matters really take precedence from then on. I will try and stick my head in now and then for an informal hop or two though, and I may submit a TE or two as well if I get time. These kind of announcements are never nice to read, it signifys a change from things we may have grown comfortable with, and they are even more difficult to write, but I am sure that the squad will do just fine and with the imminent (3 or 4) release of SP4 I am sure you will all soon be re-energised, esp as the Balkan theatre is to be the Squad mainstay for the weekly TE then, I know you will enjoy that!! Thanks again then to all the squad, both new and old members for you excellent conduct, Piloting skills and general all round good friendship. Best Regards Winder.
