Posted - 13 Mar 2006 : 22:57:41 Hi Guys, Just a quick update on the mission scoring, there have been some issues with the scoring and the scoring system has had a few changes made to it as we try to find the best balance.
In addition, there have been some coding issues with the automated mission scoring
I am acutely aware that here we are, almost at the end of the quarter and the automated mission scoring isn't ready.
For the moment the scores need to be taken at face value, but here is a link to see how it is shaping up, http://www.185th.co.uk/war_room/cplviewdata-sel.asp don't forget to use the back button on your browser.
You can also check your own personal scores by clicking on the "my page" option on the second row of the menu bar. All the mission data has been saved and is intact, the problem lies in the derivative calculations.
Most of the code amendments have been made already and are being tested. Missing or erroneous data will be corrected and the updated scores posted on the website.
My time scale is to have the scores and code updated for this weekend 18 Mar. Flight leads will review the scores and adjust if necessary, after Command have reached agreement and approved the results, PJ will then review them and make his usual report and recommend awards where necessary.
I, Sabre would like to thank you for your patience, it is frustrating not to be able to see the mission results, but your wait is nearly over.

Posted - 14 Mar 2006 : 13:26:08 nothing wrong with the mission results pages here... just wondering how you calculate the points because they differ from the way they should be calculated as explained in the war room... an explanation for that would make me really happy...
greets
Medic!
