Posted - 07 Oct 2026 : 12:01:14 Operation SOLID TRUSS – Mission 39– Sunday 11th October 2026
CLASSIFIED: SECRET (185th VFS Eyes Only)
Situation: Recent missions by the185th VFS have severely reduced enemy infrastructure at the Port Said naval base and the Abu Maati metal industries plant on the north coast. Enemy SAM batteries along the north coast have also been heavily depleted. Enemy air continues to pose a strong threat close to the west bank of the Suez. This limits our ability to bring the fight across the canal with the aim of taking territory and centres of civil and political power.

INTEL G2 comms intercepts and visual recon confirm that the bridge at Ismalia has once again been repaired by combat engineers and that a combined arms force has crossed and it axis of advance is eastward. Current reports suggest a force of regimental strength composed of the 121 armoured Batt (M1A1) supported by the 42 Mech Inf Batt. The last known location of this force is 30.36.322 32.20.685.It is very likely that a larger force is in the field. It is possible that the El Qantara bridge will be in use shortly as it is currently 50%. This advance is being supported by enemy air form the nearby Alismalia airbase. That airfield has been vary active recently.

Mission:The 185th squadron will attack and eliminate (1) the ground incursion east of the canal. (2) the Ismalia bridge at 30.36.651 32.19.273 and (3) the airfield at Alismaylia 30.35.408 32.14.820. TOT 07:23:17z in order to prevent further movement East and reduce enemy capacity in this area.
Execution: Three flights of F16 Sufas, Bulldog 1, Falcon2 and Banshee1 will conduct a coordinated strike on the enemy force. Top cover will be provided by Lynx 1 F15c. Coordination, and loadout will be at the discretion of flight leads.
COMMAND AND SIGNALS Flight leads as designated and Comms as per SOPs and briefing document
SUPPORT
NATO continues to authorise logistical and EW support to Israeli forces. Whilst NATO forces are not permitted to engage in active combat with Egyptian forces (unless fired upon), UN Charter 11979 has authorised limited use of AEW capability. To that end, an E3A c/s Magic 5 has been tasked from RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus.
