Situation
Enemy mechanised forces are crossing the Suez Canal after bridge repair work. Before the focus returns to repelling these forces, command wishes to establish better control of the air. A Patriot battalion is active in the northern Cairo area, but before this can be attacked directly, outer layers of air defense need to be neutralised.
Mission
Eliminate SA-2 battalion near Al Bar Cape.
Plan
Cobra5 is tasked with the destruction of the SA-2 battalion.
Bulldog2 (F-16I) and Gator5 (F-15C) will provide protection from enemy fighters.
Mission Success Criteria
MS : SA-2 battalion eliminated with no package losses
PS : SA-2 battalion eliminated, or, no package losses
Results
Flight Leads in this Sunday's official mission, "Solid Truss 38" are requested to post a debrief of their flight's actions, including any lessons learned or that should be learned by others.
