Operation SOLID TRUSS – Mission 30 – Sunday 9th August 2026

[CLASSIFIED: SECRET (185th VFS Eyes Only)

Campaign Objectives:

1. Stop the Egyptian Armoured Advance through the Sinai;
2. Achieve Air Superiority;
3. Hold ALL Israeli Airbases;
4. Prevent a second armoured advance.

SITUATION:

Despite a successful mission to destroy several crossing points over the Suez, a number of Egyptian ground units were able to cross into Sinai and present a clear threat to Israeli forces securing key objectives in Central Sinai.

To prevent these units advancing further east, the 185th VFS is tasked with interdicting these units before they can advance further east and hinder Israeli ground forces in their mission.

In addition, if sufficient aircraft and pilots are available, two depleted HAWK battalions must be completely destroyed in preparation for deeper strikes into Egyptian territory.

Primary Targets:

HAWKEYE3 & SPADE5:

Enemy ground units operating within the kill box east of Ismailia. These units consist mainly of Mechanized Infantry equipped with M113 APC, M48A5 armoured vehicles and support vehicles. There is also the possibility of other heavy armoured units in the vicinity. Pilots should prioritise armoured vehicles over soft vehicles.

SATAN5:

HAWK battalions have been sighted in the vicinity of PTT61 and PPT63. These are to be neutralised with all radars destroyed if not the whole battalion.

INTEL

Recent weeks have seen an increase in enemy air activity over western Sinai. With the exception of the targeted HAWK battalions, no other SAM activity has been detected in the AO.

SUPPORT

Under pressure from the Egyptian Government and other neighbouring states, NATO has withdrawn its support and AWACs aircraft from RAF Akrotiri will no longer be available. However, Israeli G550 AEW aircraft may be tasked shortly following an urgent resupply request.

1.Two
2.Lead, you're on fire.
