Operation SOLID TRUSS – Mission 27 – Sunday 19th July 2026

CLASSIFIED: SECRET (185th VFS Eyes Only)

Situation
Significant friendly force movement to the West has been achieved. Air superiority has been established. Enemy air, however, while reduced, is still active. Priority is being shifted to degrading enemy logistics, production facilities and command / control. The general situation, for now, has been stabilised.

INTEL
G2 sig int reports possible preparation for enemy incursions across the Suez by mechanised units. This is, as yet, unconfirmed. However, the airfields at Alismaylia and Abu Suwayr are operational and are defended by AAA Battalions, the 408th and 401st respectively. It may be enemy intention to use these to give air cover to their ground units. The Hawk Batt at PPT 57 continues to pose a threat. Of significance is the presence of an engineer unit at the bridge at Ismailia.

Mission
The 185th squadron will attack Alismaylia and Aby Suwayr, their runways and associated infrastructure at TOT 04.00.00. Locations 30.34.206 32.06.629 and 30.35.408 32.14.820 to prevent their use by enemy air.

Execution
Three flights of F16 Sufa will attack the enemy force supported by a flight of F15C.
Primary target is the airfields. Secondary target, if practicable, is the Hawk Batt 30.33.665 32.05.975.

4x F-15C (186th VFS), Nevatim AB – Rumble 7 – DCA – T/O Time: 04:03:00.

Command and Signals
Flight leads as designated. Comms as per SOPs and briefing document.

SUPPORT

Magic 6 AWACS will be on station for the duration of the mission.

Weapons
While loadout is at Flight Lead discretion, a mixed load of SDB 39s and SPICE 1000 is suggested to enable delivery outside the various threat circles.

Mission Success Criteria:
Mission Success:
1. Ground, An average of 4 hits on enemy targets per aircraft.
2. Safe RTB by all 185th aircraft.

Partial Success:
1. Ground, An average of 2 hits on enemy targets per aircraft.

Good Luck.
