Operation SOLID TRUSS – Mission 15– Sunday 19th April 2026

CLASSIFIED: SECRET (185th VFS Eyes Only)

Situation: Following the successful strike by the 185th in the area West of El Arish, an enemy armoured advance has been severely attritted. The general situation West of the FLOT has been stabilised with two battalions of 9 Armoured pushing further West supported by 23 Mech and 310 Inf Batt. Air operations continue to degrade enemy activity on and West of the Suez.



INTEL
G2 reports indicate the presence of 3 enemy para battalions remaining West of El Arish possibly in support of the armoured element remaining from our previous mission. The exact location of the armour is unknown, the last confirmed position of the para force is 30.58.526 33.29.150.





Mission:The 185th squadron will attack and eliminate enemy units West of El Arish at TOT 2.19.20.30 last known location 30.58.526 33.29.150. to prevent their advance East.

Execution: Three flights of F16 Sufas, Banshee 2, Cajun 1 and Beast3 will conduct a search and destroy mission on the enemy force. Top cover will be provided by Eagle 3 F15c. Coordination, and loadout will be at the discretion of flight leads.

SUPPORT

NATO continues to authorise logistical and EW support to Israeli forces. Whilst NATO forces are not permitted to engage in active combat with Egyptian forces (unless fired upon), UN Charter 11979 has authorised limited use of AEW capability. To that end, AWACS cover is provided by Dragnet 3, tasked from RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus.
