Operation SOLID TRUSS – Mission 11 – Sunday 22nd March 2026

CLASSIFIED: SECRET (185th VFS Eyes Only)

Situation: Following the successful strike by the 185th the airbase at Faid and its SA 17 battalion have been eliminated. The situation East of the FLOT has been stabilised and air operations continue to degrade enemy activity on and West of the Suez.



INTEL
G2 reports indicate that the enemy has tasked an engineer battalion with returning the airbase at Faid to operational status. There are also highly depleted remnants of the 585 Air Defence Batt North of Faid.

Mission:The 185th squadron will attack and eliminate the enemy engineer battalion at TOS 2.9.27.19 last known location 30.19.998 32.16.138 to prevent the repair of the airfield.

Execution: Two flights of F16 Sufas, Mudhen 1, and Falcon 2 will conduct a coordinated strike on the enemy force. Top cover will be provided by Ramrod 4 F15c. Coordination, and loadout will be at the discretion of flight leads.

SUPPORT

NATO continues to authorise logistical and EW support to Israeli forces. Whilst NATO forces are not permitted to engage in active combat with Egyptian forces (unless fired upon), UN Charter 11979 has authorised limited use of AEW capability. To that end, an E3A c/s Sentry 1 has been tasked from RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus.
