Situation Blue forces continue to advance along the Algerian coast, opening up opportunities to strike deeper into Algeria.

Mission Attack Chlef airbase. The airbase is defended locally by an SA-22 battalion, and covered by an SA-10 defending Tenes Radar Station 14nm to the NNE.
SDBs/JSOW-As should be able to be launched at max range at moderate-to-low risk from the SA-10. 8 aircraft are tasked with carrying these munitions to overload any self-defence capability.
There is a high risk of Su30-MKA scrambling from Chlef, so F-15s are tasked with keeping them at bay.

On take off we had to instantly engage a couple of SU-24s. These were very evasive for fighter bombers and it took six of our eight slammers to take them down. Should we have left them?

We continued on mission but the skies became full of enemy aircraft and our AI F-15 escort was way behind us (their take off time being adhered to). We fired our remaining two slammers at MiG-29S, destroying one.

A mission abort was called and we RTBd. I bent my aircraft on landing, forgetting that I had a full load of bombs on board. Fisty landed safely.

Plan was to ingress 20nm behind Mustang2 with them taking a durandal pass on the target runway and us taking long range SDB shots at SA-22 and assorted airbase targets.

On takeoff Mustang2 encountered a pair of Su-24s just 20nm from our homeplate so engaged and ended up with just 1 AMRAAM left each.

We were too far behind to help with that engagement, but immediately there were two more bandit groups inbound. Hoping these were also Su-24s we proceeded, but they were Mig-29M and Su-30MKA.

We were in poor positioning resulting in a confused engagement. Aggression favoured us however, and we only lost Bayonet in the frenzy to a Su-30.

Once those groups were destroyed, we were very light on A-A weapons so abandoned the mission. The AI F-15s were only just joining us at this point.

On the way home, I remembered a gathering of enemy ground troops so the 3 of us headed there and found mostly moving targets. Nevertheless we managed 19 A-G kills, to go with our 3 A-A kills earlier.
