Moroccan troops have started to make inroads along the northern coast of Algeria. This is in no small part to the efforts of the 185th to neutralise the enemy's air defences and air bases. You shall continue in this effort but with a focus on the enemy's supply and early warning capability.
The advances we have made and the movement of the FLOT has allowed us to move closer to the front at Angads AB.

Intel has been told that Tafaraoui AB is being used by the enemy as a home for it's air lift fleet of aircraft. Taking this out should hamper supplies reaching their troops. The air base is suspected as having low threat SHORAD (SA-7) protection. The OCA flight is tasked with destroying the runway as well as searching for and destroying the SHORAD battalion.
Other SAM threats exist as well as the remnants of an EWR station. The AI flight is tasked with finishing off the EWR station and attacking the SA-8 battalion at PPT64.
The DCA flight shall keep station to protect both the OCA and AI flights until they have completed their tasks.
Your package consists of three flights of four F-16s.

Mako 2 (F-16C-52+CFT) - AI (DEAD)
Hawkeye 1 (F-16C-52+CFT) - DCA

The above plan shows an attack option from the Mediterranean Sea, which is deemed the safest away from SAM threats.
The DCA flights should note that MiG-29S's have been seen capping above the sea to the north of your routes.
Your Primary task is to attack and destroy the runway at Tafaraoui.

The weather is clear at the target.
Mission Success Criteria
OCA Flight
Mission Success shall be awarded for the destruction of all sections of the runway at Tafaraoui with no losses to manpads defending the AB.
Partial Success shall be awarded for the destruction of all sections of the runway with a max of one loss to the defending manpads.
AI Flight
Mission Success shall be awarded for the total destruction of the EWR station and hits on the SA-8 launchers at PPT64.
Partial Success shall be awarded for the total destruction of the EWR station.
DCA Flight
Mission Success - No losses to the OCA/AI flight from enemy air attack.
Partial Success - Max of one loss to the OCA/AI flight from enemy air attack.

Took off and flew to our SP5, and after Hawkeye cleared us in 1 went for the EWR and destroyed what was left. 2 started searching for SA8s at our SP6 and was joined by 1. We did not manage to find any SA8s despite our efforts and hence the PS. Expended remainin munitions on targets of opportunity and then RTBd safely.
We had an unexplained bug which made us invisible to eachother on Link16 for the entire flight although we both saw every one else. |

Ingressed NOE and was lucky to avoid some infantry battalions along the way.
Delivered BLU-107s on target and then climbed to take out v.high value structures with GBU-54s.
RTB and we spotted a couple of SU-24 very close to our homeplate. We gave chase but they got away to safety so we landed.
