Posted - 06 Jul 2021 : 16:53:36 The 185th has moved into Kimhae Airport alongside the 35th and shall be flying F-16C-50 Falcons.
Your mission shall be to attack three battalions of T-62 tanks, the 1st, 4th and 5th Battalions. Each of these units consists of eighteen tanks along with other support vehicles.
It is vital that as many of these tanks are removed from the battlefield as our forces are thinly spread in that area.

Friendly forces are south west of the area at present so be careful of blue on blue events.
There are SAM threats from an SA-5 to the NE and two SA-2 battalions to the NW. We have cover from two Hawk battalions to the south of the target area.

MS
A very quiet mission.
We set up for a 3-ship cap with 15nm separation between 1, 2, and 3. 1 was carrying a pair of JSOWs to deal with a couple of SA-2 threats NW of the killbox. JSOWs were launched on ingress, with 2 and 3 going directly to a N-S CAP over the killbox.
There were no air threats to be seen, with only a probable attack aircraft reported by AWACs and well out of range.
Once Jackal1 reported miller-time, we closed the CAP and returned to homeplate in 40nm trail from Jackal1. Overhead break was nice and orderly.
