Balkans V4.3

BMS 4.34.4

Objective

Weather is once again terrible with a cloud base at 2,000ft over the target area. Never the less we once again need to destroy enemy ground forces around Podgorica City. We have therefore setup a kill box around the city, only enemy ground forces should be in this area.

Package 940

WEASEL4 - AI - 4x F-16C-50. Destroy enemy ground unit in kill box SOUTH.

FALCON3 - AI - 4x F-16C-50. Destroy enemy ground unit in kill box NORTH.

MS: If using JSOW, 60 enemy ground units destroyed total in Kill Box NORTH and SOUTH. If not using JSOW, 10 enemy ground units destroyed. No losses to package from enemy action.

PS: If using JSOW, 40 enemy ground units destroyed total in Kill Box NORTH and SOUTH. If not using JSOW, 5 enemy ground units destroyed. Maximum 1 loss to package from enemy action.

Approached western kill box in 5NM trail, with mud 6 from the north.
Sorted target accordingly and damaged a lot but not that many kills.
Due to visibility and absence of movers we relied on columns on FCR, some of them appeared to be runways.

#1 and #2 got 2 pigs away per pass, #1 came back for BDA as #2 was taking care of the air picture and #3 going for a 3rd pass. #3 took a little longer finding his targets, almost resulting with a blue on blue, lucky the jsows missed.

Once miller time we got calls from AWACS of several groups from the north, only 50NM away.
Due to the amount of friendly in the areas we decided to cut it short and rejoin on WEASEL4. Leaving the tomcats to take care of it.

OHB on runway 31 following WEASEL4.

Another straight-forward AI flight with the only challenge being the cloud layer and the related difficulty confirming targets. That said, everything went well and to plan.

No air threats encountered at any stage, plus there were a lot of friendlies about in case there were.

There was a very neat and well executed overhead break on landing.
