In order to create a wedge in the enemy SE shoreline, we need to deplete the SAM defences there.
Your targets are at three air bases. These are Ozerskiy, Novoya and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Each has at least one type of AD battalion protecting it.
Ozerskiy Airport is currently out of action but the others are active.
Package 1404
1. Cyborg 5 - 4 ship
2. Falcon 7 - 4 ship
3. Jaguar 6 - 4 ship
Your task is to destroy air defence assets at the three target steerpoints.
Apart from the obvious air threats there are SA-2,SA-3 and SA-17 sams in the area as well as the target being on the edge of an SA-5's threat circle.
Your route has been planned to make as much use of our Patriot coverage as well as taking you away from the main flow of enemy aircraft. You will need to be on full alert as you approach the target. Avoid confrontations wherever possible if you wish to succeed intact. You may wish to move the flight plan further east at your discretion.
MS = A package average of four AD kills per aircraft flown, no losses to radar SAMs.
PS = A package average of two AD kills per aircraft flown, no losses to radar SAMs.
