Our mission for today are the reserves from the 8th Armored Division
around T'osan in grid 3.9.
The first picture shows the general situation and the flight paths.
The second picture shows the main targets around T'osan for the AI flights:
31st HQ Battalion
32nd Armored Battalion
47th Armored Battalion
48th Mech Battalion
Package 13000
Preconditions:
MS per pilot is RTB and a parked jet,
PS is given for RTB w/o proper parking the jet (crash on landing ...),
MF otherwise (airframe lost/destroyed for any reason).
Gypsy1 and Falcon2 are four ship AI flights.
MS success is given for at least 50% of fired munition hit per flight.
PS is given for at least 25%.
Cowboy2 and Fury2 are the four ship (close) escort.
MS is no air losses to their AI flight with a PS for two losses max
due to A2A.
IDA will be from Cowboy2.
Gypsy11 is package commander.

MS
We were last to depart and ingress was uneventful. We received the markpoint from Homer and we sorted movers to the NE, as to deconflict over the target. When the area was clear of threats, we engaged targets and exited. We RTB'd and all jets were returned CODE-1 ( no defects or write-ups ). |

Flight Role: AI
Gypsy11: "Homer" AA=0 AG=6 RTB
Gypsy12: "Floyd" AA=0 AG=5 RTB
Gypsy13: "Veiland" AA=0 AG=4 RTB
Flew the flight-plan as briefed, and upon receiving clearance from Cowboy, we set up a left hand circuit. Homer and Floyd were able to kill total of 11 targets in three passes, while Veiland had issues with his TGP. After a slight delay for some AA work, we eventually got cleared back in to target area, Veiland attacked using Bore and/or Visual mode, and killed 4 targets. RTB with no dramas at all.
A good mission which was well executed within the flight, good comms and tight flying for the most part.
