Posted - 07 Nov 2016 : 20:10:14 Lessons were learned last time out in the Balkans. Our first mission into enemy territory reminded us not to underestimate the enemy.
This time we shall attack the Podgorica South Refinery.
There is limited SAM and AAA defence at the moment, in the form of SA-6, SA-9 and AAA.
Air threats are low at present but the escort flight shall need to be alert and focused.

Fury 1 of the 22nd squadron, shall take off from Casale AB while Lobo 1 and Falcon 1 of the 77th squadron take off from Gioia del Colle AB after relocation.
Package 17824 Falcon 1 is a four ship strike flight. MS is for destruction of the main plant, 2 x towers and 2 x processing tanks at Podgorica South Refinery. PS will be awarded if the main plant and 2 x towers are destroyed.
Lobo 1 is the four ship escort and Package Commander, tasked to protect the strike flights. IDA will be from this flight. MS no AA losses to the strike flights, PS one loss to the strike flight.
Fury 1 is a four ship SEAD flight. MS is no radar SAM or radar AAA losses to the package, PS is a maximum of one similar loss.
Timings TO for Falcon 1 is 08:58hrs with PP at 09:17:36 at FL220. IDM 1, VHF 1, tacan 11/74 TOT for Falcon 1 is 09:22:10hrs at FL180. TO for Fury 1 is 08:57hrs with PP at 09:11:43 at FL250. IDM 2, VHF 2, tacan 16/79 TO for Lobo 1 is 08:56hrs with PP at 09:13:39 at FL260. IDM 3, VHF 3, tacan 21/84
Flight path is fixed for mutual support.
The weather is poor at home plates and fair at the target as the weather system moves SE with more storms coming in from the north. Choose your weapons accordingly.
Good Hunting

PS
We had to destroy 5 targets: main plant, 2 x towers and 2 x processing tanks, target points 15-20. Each plane had 2x GBU31 and #2 - #4 were asked to attack first. For some reason we've destroyed 14 targets, but only damaged the main plant.

MS
After breaking my jet on a bad tile in the middle of 14R (needs to be avoided from now on), we had a smooth ingress. Before we could set up the CAP we encountered 4 29s and we took them on. After that, it was quiet until just after strike competed their mission when another 4 ship approached from the NW. We engaged until we out of slammers and called RTB for the package. Everyone made it back safe.
