The action began 40 miles to the target. A group of MiG-29 were monitored, but turned cold when a second group went to engage. I've asked Falcon to come north and stay between any bandits and the singleton Strike. All bandits could be shot down or scared away and the way to target was free.

I handed off an contact to Zip who dispatched it but it turned out to be Mig15 - my bad.

Mission Outcome: MS
Took off as fragged, however at this point Mango had a technical affecting his avionics and had to RTB and exit. Cruise towards FLOT was uneventful and took position 10nm behind Python flight. At FLOT it became clear a welcoming committee was sent up for us. Python dealt with the first of these and after some extra talk on Falcon was able to support Cowboy with the second pair. During this first engagement Cowboy was directed south by Python.
Once the first engagement was over, Python directed Cowboy forward to target at gate. Proceeded to the target area and attacked the runway and came back ASAP.
On exit from AO, a delouse was called by (I think) a member of Python flight. I was able to support this and got into a turning fight with a J11. After being supported by another F16, I got into a head on pass with the bandit and killed it with a head on gun pass after being presented with a funnel shot.
RTB uneventful.
