Mission Outcome: MS
Flew to target which was fairly uneventful, had lots of SAM threats showing on HTS but as far as I am aware none of us got engaged. Took one pass at target and we all successfully got our munitions away destroying the column (unfortunately for the rest of my flight it appears my bombs pretty much wiped them all out on first pass. Called off target and RTB but then called if Lion needed A-A support which was confirmed so turned the flight around to help out. We could see multiple threats on scope and I think on our way in Lion were dealing with several of them, our flight then got split into two elements and before long I think we were all stuck into our own little dogfights with Mig23's. It was fairly hectic at this point with F-16s all over the place between both our flight and Lion however after our initial skermishes I was turning hot to Mig23 RWR contacts and just as I saw about 5 of them in a line Vosene was calling that we should bug out and on seeing those I agreed and called for the flight to go gate and RTB. Floyd finished up his last contact and then came and joined us for a final battle break in 4.32.
I may have got the A-A scores wrong as I forgot to write them down but also not sure if they are completely accurate as I had two confirmed missile impacts so unless one heater is not sufficient to take them down or other people were finishing off my kills, I believe other people in the flight may have had similar situations.
Fun final flight and was nice to all get home safely.

Tow bandit groups spotted SW and North – 1and2 handed off SW group to second element. Ironman went head to head with Mig 23 while Zipgun searched for the migs wingman. Ironman nailed the mig 23 with second missile but by this time had been dragged into the SA6 envelope. Ironman evaded 11 SA6’s but unfortunately they firs 12 SA 6’s !!!! long walk home. Some Lag was experienced by all in our flight which cost ZipGun a kill or 3 !!! Poppy and tank tangled well with other migs – Tank Poppy please fill in the gaps. Only Zipgun made it back in his jet. Good flight and a fond farewell to 4.32
