MISSION OUTCOME: MS

Uneventful flight, INGRESS, blow s**t up, EGRESS. Wiped 2 battalions off the map and brought 'em all home. Other than that, nothing much to say ... we should either press further west or "clean the canyon" down by St. Cate ... we own bullseye.

Flight Role: ESCORT
Fury21: "Floyd" AA=1 AG=0 RTB
Fury22: "Griffin" AA=0 AG=0 RTB

Mission Outcome: MS

After the uneventful ingress we informed Spade1 about the clear target area
and they started their attack runs. Only one MiG-23 strolled into our AO,
but was shot down quickly.

We've turned to support Falcon after Spade declared RTB, but no more bandits
showed up. RTB was uneventful.

Cowboy22: Mango AA=0 AG=0 KIA
Cowboy23: Vosene AA=0 AG=2 RTB
Cowboy24: Crowebar AA=0 AG=10 RTB

Mission Outcome: PS

Plan - Interdict targets of opportunity around target steerpoint (leaving SAM sites to the other Interdiction flight). Backup target area 30nm to NW if no targets available.

Ingress - Some D/L issues after take-off resulted in No 4 taking over D/L responsibility. Also had some TS IVC issues. Then Sabre dropped connection and was not able to rejoin. 3 took lead and directed flight to retrograde to avoid Mig-23s that were then intercepted by the Escort.

Target Area - unable to locate any high value targets of opportunity so we moved to the backup location 30nm to the NW where we detected Mig-23s approaching from the WNW. We notified Escort, which dealt with them. Due to continuing technical issues we were unable to locate targets on FCR/TGP. Eventually No 2 manage to ID a T-72 column and attacked with 4x Mk-20D but unfortunately missed and crashed due to technical issues trying to re-engage the target. No 4 killed 10 vehicles with 6 Mk-20D before 3 polished the column off with 3 hits and 2 kills.

Egress - Uneventful egress but No 3 declared a pan due to low fuel. Flew a straight in approach from 10nm due to it being dark. More technical weirdness with the debrief showing an AA-8 being fired at No 3 about 1 min prior to landing despite their being no enemy near us.

Overall - Great support from the Escort who keep enemy air threats away from us. Took longer than expected to find and kill targets due to a combination of a lack of high value targets in the area and technical issues. Recommend we expand our target area/types for future missions.

Falcon22: "Veiland" AA=3 AG=0 RTB
Falcon23: "Flying Stone" AA=2 AG=0 RTB

Mission Outcome: MS

Took off to target site, started our CAP, had an engagement with some Mig-23s which we took care of, then had a mixture of Mig-21 and Mig 23 from the North and West, got quiet for a bit and then got a call from Cowboy about another group of Mig-23s so we turned to engage and took that group out in a nice furball with good mutual support. RTB with no issue.
