MS
Tried hard not to get sucked out of safe area, but hard work. Needs a whole new approach with these short range missiles. Lost Mango on the merge because I for one didn't support my AIM-7 all the way to the target.
Learning points. AIM-7 must be supported and guided to the target AIM-9P is rear aspect only.
It's not BVR anymore.

Mission MS
Due to short range of missiles (AiM-7, Aim-9) it happened that the flight was drawn out of the "safe" area over friendly SAM sites. And more and more incoming bandits made it difficult to regroup. Dragging a bandit group required the second element to be in short trail formation, but this was difficult because of data link problems. The IR missiles need special handling, one friendly was killed by an AiM-9 running wild.
