Flight leads in this Sunday's official campaign mission, "Korean Campaign 8" are requested to post a debrief of their flights actions by Tuesday, including any lessons learned or that should be learned by others.

We were the last to take off with 1 and 2 being air cover while 3 had the Mavericks. We haled off 20 miles from the target until Avenger and Cobra finished. During that time there were multiple contacts. We killed one MiG29 but the others were very close to the other friendlies and there was real danger of Blue-on-Blue incidents, so we held off.
Veiland went in and killed six for six. Good job Veiland.
We then RTB'd without incident.

We stayed behind Cobra, engaged AG when the opportunity presented itself, afterward there was a Mig29 coming in and a 2ship Su25s.
All were eangaged, with the 29 being taken out by Jack.
We all RTBed uneventfully, with the exception of Zipgun, who blew up on the runway with no apparent reason. |
