Flight leads in this Sunday's official mission, "The Noose" are requested to post a debrief of their flights actions by Tuesday, including any lessons learned or that should be learned by others.

Smoke 11: Sharpe AA=0 AG=0 RTB
Plasma 11: Sabre AA=0 AG=0 KIA
Bronco 11: Jack AA=0 AG=0 KIA

We briefed for a fairly low profile flight after T/O dropping to a very low altitude once we trespassed the patriots.
Smoke flight seemed to be a fair way ahead of Plasma and Bronco and Smoke got jumped by F/A18's just after waypoint three. Dodged them and some missiles as I sent my wingmen home.
I heard Plasma and Bronco getting into trouble south of me, but setting my radar to 40nm all I could see was a wall of jamming F/A18's. As I had no jammer I couldn't get close enough to safely engage them so I turned back towards destination (I had figured at best I would be shooting at the same time vs any other 'like for like' enemy so I stripped it to save drag).
I think I may even have had a little fuel left when I landed ;)
An interesting mission Utopic, very much a step away from 'the norm'.

Flying the same profile as Voodoo flight, we saw a few launches from the Hawk against us
and some small arms fire, but made it to the new home base w/o problems.

Ran a low profile from TO to landing, jumped by few F-18s enroute and between STP4 and Dest. No major drama, arrived as planned with a little fuel in the tanks. |
