Posted - 14 Jun 2013 : 08:57:50 In my opinion this wasn't a boring TE. We should not get used to a certain pattern in our TEs. Wolman's mission was a good diversion from a weekly routine and a lesson to respect the opponent. |

Posted - 13 Jun 2013 : 20:50:59 Sorry about the boring TE. This was a test for you guys! Now I know Level zero (0). Next time "Crash and burn" |

Posted - 11 Jun 2013 : 22:52:35 After the above took place, I was able to take out the 2nd SU-27 while the other was limping home, and after that there was no more air to air action. We landed safely after getting the call to go RTB. |

Posted - 11 Jun 2013 : 20:33:29 Flight Role: Escort Falcon11: "Utopic" AA=0 AG=0 EJT/RS Falcon12: "Mikuli" AA=0 AG=0 RTB Falcon13: "Blade" AA=1 AG=0 RTB
Mission Outcome: MS
We took off second, got close to the target area and after cleared in by the SEAD Escort, established a circuit between our way-points 4 & 5.
We were notified about incoming Su-27s, and the first element turned to intercept. I was separated from no2 when I engaged them. I got off a shot but was slow to turn defensive, and wile I was cold in relationship to the bandits, I got an R77 up my tail, got hit and ejected. The debrief said the bandit was damaged.
I'll let Blade continue with what happened next and do let me know if I missed anything.
Two things to keep in mind for me: 1) I don't know, why even after all this time, I still hesitate to do the split-s and 2) I keep forgetting to turn on the ACMI when I fence in. And I also didn't check in when switching to Uniform 13. |

Posted - 10 Jun 2013 : 23:36:05 Flight Role: SEAD Escort Fury11: "Griffin" AA=0 AG=1 RTB Fury12: "Floyd" AA=2 AG=2 RTB Fury13: "Elmo" AA=0 AG=2 RTB
Mission Outcome: MS
We were first in, the first two planes with 4 slammers, 2 HARMs and 2 tanks. No3 had Maveric Ds instead of tanks.
We headed to the target to take out at least three SA2 and a AAA effecting the target area. En route we encountered Mig21s that I thought had been taken down by the Patriot as they disappeared off the scope.
Floyd and I engaged the primary SA2s at the target area, destroying them both. I was defensive against one of them when make PC froze. Floyd and Elmo pushed on to continue the attacks.Floyd killed a further SA2 while Elmo hit a AAA battalion. Althoughwe had hits they were still showing on RWR. We called Falcon and Cowboy into the area.
I rejoined and after leaving some SU27s to Falcon flight, we set up our CAP.
We stayed on station until the briefed time and after no encounters during our CAP we all RTB'd.
Inter flight comms were poor imo, but I know there were tech issues that didn't help. Hopefully this will improve for next time.
