Flight leads in this Sunday's mission, "Lipstick" are requested to post a debrief of their flights actions, including any lessons learned or that should be learned by others.

Thanks Joif for your management. I learn the hard way. To be a wingman and glue wings cost fuel. Next TE I will bring on my own fueltanks. OK, Sabre you do not need to comment, I know :)

Performed buster take off and gently climbed to A25, enroute we could see dmans flight engaged in a furball with some MiG29's, at the time I must have missed the call from Dmans not to commit so apologies my error. From 15nm away I could see a MiG29 was stuck solidly on an F-16's 6 and even as I got within 5nm I couldn't see anyone manoeuvring to get a shot on the MiG 29 so I took a shot and splashed the 29.
Continuing on route there was a second set of Mig 29's 2 ship at A2. We monitored from a distance as Dmans flight were close enough for heater shots, I saw both Mig 29's get splashed by heaters's but 1 aircraft had survived as we closed and merged with the MiG29 it looked like no follow up missile was coming so I ordered the AI to splash the remaining Mig 29.
After this engagement 3,4 were trespassing SA-17 and had to turn south defensive this lead to 4 going bingo and had to RTB shortly after this, 3 continued to rejoin.
We continued to head for target steerpoint, after picking up SA-17 spikes enroute far south of the steerpoint I manoeuvred around the SA-17's thinking they were most likely a different group of SA-17's as this TE had several SA-17 groups.
We waited on CAP for all the clear from dmans flight to go heads down. I told AI to engage who successfully hit 2 SA-17's with mavs, and mavs from myself only damaged the SA-17's, I waited then on cap for 3 to arrive, 3 located the targets visually but couldn't acquire a lock. I also located the remaining SA-17 visually and was close enough to confirm that the SA17 was mobile and also had no missiles remaining, this was shortly destroyed by a gun run.
We then proceeded to RTB with no further action.
P.s. Wolfman, I did notice on the HSD that through the entire flight you stuck solidly with 3 even as you both headed south defensive from the SA-17 which was very impressive, Good Job :)

Took off climbed to Angles 25. Head to target avoiding Mig29s being engaged by Dmans flight. Went low level into target and had to do 3 runs in until we got visual on the SA17s even though we were being spiked could not see them at first. Got weapons off, my two missiles were fired at the wrong battalion though, Vaughan had one hit but it only damaged the the SA17. Set up a CAP and waited for remaining flights to engage ground target then head RTB. Engaged 2 Mig29s on the way back, I shot one down with a heater then saw another one get taken out, though they had all gone but was still getting spiked, turned to engage but somebody else got there before me so head RTB.
