Strange mission since i spent most of the ingress trying to relay steerpoints coordinates to Helldiver since his flightplan got screwed when he loaded DTE. After that it was a bit a first come, first served scenario where we kept downing Mig29S and Antonovs coming into our FAOR. SA was a bit reduced for us,in terms of what was going on exactly in the other FAOR's, since we had our mind on entering steerpoint coordinates in the ingress, but since everyone did a good job, no mutual support was ever needed. If i can remember well, we downed a total of 6 Mig29S and 4 Antonovs.
My personal mission highlight was my last kill with guns on an unlucky Antonov. I intercepted it from it's 4, in total darkness , and then BOOM, the cockpit was marvelously illuminated by and epic explosion. I really wish i had fraps recording, the whole cockpit total darkness to illumination by the explosion in front transition was spectacular.

The two MiG-29s that were capping out patrol zone were shot down, but we lost #2 in the second engagement when #3 and #4 could shoot the bandits down.
The incoming bomber needed 2 shots and the flight was running low on missiles. At that time the picture was clear and the flight could RTB.
Excellent mission with fine-tuned timing - well done!

Good Mission overall with some excellent eye in the sky work from Lumper, after take off we climbed to A29 on our way to the capping station, enroute we picked up contacts around 30-40 miles slightly North west which we monitored whilst still remaining on heading for our CAP point, we could see this flight was already being engaged at the time by another flight in which by time we got close enough to realistically engage all bandits had been destroyed so proceeded to the CAP point,
AWACS called in 2x Mig 29S approaching from the CAP area which Mango and myself engaged, I engaged on both targets in defense as they had broken 20nm both missiles hit seperate aircraft but only enough to kill 1 which Mango destroyed but he unfortunately couldn't evade an R-77.
Mango handed over lead role to myself which we proceeded to our CAP stpt's south-north which it turned out no aircraft would break through the other flights and an east-west would have been more appropriate. We also then engaged two Mig 25's which were easily taken care of BVR by Wolfman and AI my missiles had missed or they were already hit by time of impact. We again returned to our pattern, Chalis made us aware of MiG 29S capping to the west which we monitored but never became a factor.
After more time spent capping at some point during this we lost Wolfman to gamecrash, a later AWACS call put us on intercept an enemy flight around around 70nm away but other flights had declared Bingo and intended to RTB. Serpent Flight RTB'd after Chalis called for all flights to RTB for an uneventful flight home.
Lessons Learnt: I got lucky no MiG29S had fired on myself, also I think Wolfman needs to stick abit closer, at times you were around 5-10 miles lagging behind which you wouldn't have been close enough to assist effectively in active shooter engagements. Everything else was solid. Thanks for the mission Wolfman
Also noticed a slight bug on my FCR where I was picking up a completely stationary jamming symbol but there were no enemy aircraft in the area, I have seen it before in campaign so wasn't a big issue.
