Mission Outcome: PS
Mission Plan: Sweep the area, establish TARCAP, or go as a close escort to the strike in case they went low level. Execution: Sweeped the area, TARCAPED and RTB'ed. Engagements Shots Made: -4 Ship Mig23's on ingress. 1st element had snapped to the west so, 2nd element was the one to engage. Bad Call from my side where is thought it was a 2ship while we were snapping east. 2nd element fired only 2 slammers and i managed to fly only a last second fox3 before i pumped. Result, the leakers got Helldiver and furballed Crowebar. -4Ship Mig21's: It should have been an easy engagement also, but by the time they were in range, we were nusy with the mig23 leakers.2 were taked down bu us, 1 bu the SEAD and the remainder furballed Tiag. Was eventually taken down by me, but yet again that thing should not have happened.
Lessons learned: Lose it for a split second and all hell comes loose. I flew like a tourist having in mind those 23's were a 2 ship, we got leakers, they shot down Helldiver, and we almost lost Crowebar and Tiag, only to be saved by a very last minute shot while furballing. People said it was an interesting mission in A/A, but the truth is, it should have been a boring A/A-wise. In the end, officialy, a PS for the flight,MF regarding tactics and personal performance.

Flight Role: Deep Strike Cowboy11: "Griffin" AA=0 AG=1 RTB Cowboy12: "Novac" AA=X AG=X TECH Cowboy13: "Floyd" AA=0 AG=2 RTB Cowboy14: "Elmo" AA=0 AG=0 RTB
Mission Outcome: MS
ELOA from BAT and tech from BB and Novac (in mission).
This was a really good, well balanced mission. Thoroughly enjoyed.
We took off and headed to the target area. The SA I had from the SEAD and Escort flights and Lumper was excellent. We knew exactly what was going on and where.
We had to orbit a few times while SAMs and bandits were sorted out and then we progressed to the target. I fired on the reactor with AGM 65Gs and a JSOW just to make sure. Floyd and Elmo headed out to the west of the target to come in and attack the transformers, which were hidden from the southerly approach.
We encountered some minor SAM and AAA, but destroyed the target completely and returned to base intact.
Good job by all.
Sorry no debrief text. It recorded Lobo flight instead of mine. How did that happen?
