Cowboy - SEAD Escort

Took off for a climb to A29. We saw a flight of Mig 23's heading our way and engaged. As we closed 2 x SA-10 circles popped up. Unfortunately Ballistic couldn't see them. So while he and his wingy took care of the remaining Mig23s I took a shot at the Flap Lid to the east while keeping an eye on his proximity to the SA-10 circles.
We proceeded on (Ballistic having lost his wingy). We engaged a four ship Mig 29S and destroyed them but by this time Ballistic was Winchester AA and I was down to two slammers. Ballistic took out the remaining SA-5 while trying to steer clear of the SA-3 circle. AWACs gave a warning of enemy aircraft behind us and I advised Floyd that we could not engage as there were more conacts in front of us. These turned out to be Su-27SM's. I originally thought they were a two ship. Bad error. I and my wingy took down three of them before I lost out to a combination of R-77 and SA-3. Only Ballistic made it home while running very low on fuel.
A tough mission that may have gone a lot differently with more human pilots. A good tester Pinbeck. Nice one.

We took off and settled at 28k with 10 miles between the elements.
While the escort was busy engaging bandits, we flew one circle and
proceeded. The two SA-10s were not overlapping, so there was a path
through; an SA-6 came up but could be avoided as well. At about 80 miles
to the target AWACS called out bandits at our 4 o'clock, but the distance
to them was ok, so we proceeded.
Then escort lead called out bandits on the nose, probably a 2-ship. This
group developed to 3 SU-27SM from which the escort managed to kill one. The
other two came after the strike and shot down #1 (going back to mission
screen and that group just disappeared?!). #2 shot 4 slammers, but all missed.
#2 and #3 could proceed but were shot down by 2 SU-27SM flying CAP over the target.
